About
AECOverse is a software company. We build an AI-assisted screening tool that reads structural and bridge drawing sets and flags potential conflicts, missing information, and constructability issues — each with the evidence behind it — for a licensed engineer to evaluate.
AECOverse is a technology company, not a licensed architecture, engineering, or construction firm. Our product is decision-support software: it screens drawings and surfaces potential issues for review. It does not stamp, seal, certify, or determine code compliance, and it is not a substitute for review by a licensed professional.
The screening is built on deep, real-world structural and long-span bridge practice — the hard checks generalist tools miss (fracture-critical designation, weld prequalification, strand debond limits, distortion-induced fatigue, camber and geometry control, and the state DOT amendments that modify plain AASHTO). The depth of the rule set is the edge; the engineer of record always makes the call.
AI drawing screening is arriving fast, but it's aimed at buildings and general commercial work. Almost nobody is doing it for the place it's hardest and matters most: bridges, DOT, structural steel, and precast. That's the gap AECOverse is built for — depth in one domain, not breadth across all of them.
The point isn't to replace anyone's review. It's to give an overloaded team a rigorous, consistent extra pass — every sheet, every time — so the things that cost weeks in the field get flagged while they're still cheap to fix.
The tool flags; the engineer decides. Every finding is advisory, worded as a potential issue to verify, never a verdict. The customer's engineer of record verifies and dispositions every finding. AECOverse supports that judgment — it never substitutes for it, and it never certifies compliance.
Your drawings stay yours. We never train on your drawings — not us, not the model. Our checks come from public standards and authorized data; one customer's work never touches another's, and files are deleted after delivery.
