Terms of Service
Last updated: September 14, 2026. These terms govern your use of AECOverse (“the Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.
AECOverse is an AI-powered software tool that screens structural and bridge drawings and shop drawings to help identify potential conflicts, missing information, and constructability issues. Findings are advisory and flagged for your review. You acknowledge and agree that:
AECOverse is a technology company, not a licensed architecture, engineering, or construction firm. You acknowledge and agree that:
Findings are advisory and may include false positives and may miss issues. All findings must be independently verified and dispositioned by a licensed engineer of record before any action is taken. The engineer of record retains responsible charge of all engineering decisions and remains the responsible party. You represent that you have the right to submit any drawings you upload.
The Service is for business and professional users who are at least 18 and have authority to accept these terms on behalf of their organization.
You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, not to upload content you lack the rights to submit, and not to submit export-controlled (ITAR/EAR), classified, or controlled-unclassified (CUI) or otherwise restricted drawings without prior written authorization and appropriate safeguards.
Your drawings are processed by a third-party large-language-model sub-processor (currently Anthropic) under contractual terms that prohibit training its models on customer content. We may change or add sub-processors with notice. See the Privacy Policy for full data handling, retention, and deletion.
The Service is provided “as is.” No automated or human review can identify every issue in a drawing set. AECOverse does not warrant that the Service will find all conflicts, omissions, code issues, or constructability problems, and disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AECOverse's total liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees paid for the specific review at issue (or US $100 for a complimentary review). AECOverse is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. These limits allocate risk in exchange for the fees charged. You agree to indemnify AECOverse against claims arising from your drawings, your use of findings without independent verification by a licensed engineer of record, your violation of law or third-party rights, or your breach of these terms.
Each party will protect the other's non-public information. We handle your drawings as described in the Privacy Policy; NDAs are available on request.
You retain all rights to the drawings you submit and grant us only the limited license needed to process them and deliver your review. AECOverse retains all rights to its review methodology, rule library, software, and report formats.
Fees are quoted per set or per package and due as agreed. Founding-partner reviews may be provided at no charge in exchange for feedback. Fees exclude taxes; late amounts may accrue charges.
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, misuse, or breach. Provisions that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute resolution) survive termination.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
