Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026. This policy explains what AECOverse collects, how it is used, and — most importantly for drawings — what is never done with it.
We never train on your drawings — not us, not the model. We process drawings for screening through Anthropic's commercial API as a sub-processor. Under Anthropic's Commercial Terms, Anthropic does not train its models on customer content, and Anthropic automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days. We delete your uploaded drawings from our own systems after your review is delivered. Every project is processed in isolation with no cross-customer access, and we build our rule library only from public standards and authorized data — never from your files. One customer's work never touches another's.
For the most sensitive work (for example, pre-award design), we can arrange zero-data-retention processing and delete-on-delivery handling, and we offer NDAs on request.
We use a small number of vetted service providers to run the Service, under confidentiality and (for the AI provider) no-training terms:
A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available for business customers on request.
Solely to perform your review, deliver the result, and communicate with you about it. We do not sell or share your personal information (as those terms are defined under California law), and we do not share your drawings with anyone except the subprocessors above, for the sole purpose of producing your review.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and — where applicable — opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control). To exercise any right, contact us at the address below; we respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (for example, California's CCPA/CPRA). Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights.
If you are in the EU/UK, additional rights and safeguards may apply; contact us and we will provide the applicable terms and transfer mechanisms.
Your data is processed on infrastructure located in the United States.
We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect your content: encryption in transit and at rest, per-customer data segregation with programmatic access controls (no cross-customer access), least-privilege access limited to authorized personnel, authenticated operator access, and deletion of uploaded drawings after delivery. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by applicable law, within the shortest applicable deadline.
